3. The Flower Fields of Carlsbad Ranch

4. Birch Aquarium at Scripps La Jolla

Discover the diverse and vivid marine life in over 60 habitats at Birch Aquarium at UCSD’s Institute of Oceanography. The aquarium offers a variety fascinating exhibits, as well as hands-on encounters. 5. Coastal Beach Cruising

Spend a day outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, listening to the waves crash, all while you’re riding along the coast on a colorful beach cruiser or electric bike. Pack a picnic and post up at a scenic spot. If you already own a bike, then this activity is practically free!
