We came up with a small list of family-friendly spring break activities in North County San Diego that everyone in the family can enjoy.

2. LEGOLAND California

LEGOLAND is a theme park, water park, aquarium, and hotel in Carlsbad. It can be as adventurous or as relaxing as you want it to be, but either way, you’re sure to have heaps of fun! Spread out the activities over a couple days so you can enjoy it all.

3. The Flower Fields of Carlsbad Ranch

Over 50 Acres of vibrant color are in bloom at the Flower Fields of Carlsbad Ranch. Let the kids run around while you literally, “stop to smell roses.” Perfect for beautiful photo opportunities and quality family time. 4. Birch Aquarium at Scripps La Jolla

Discover the diverse and vivid marine life in over 60 habitats at Birch Aquarium at UCSD’s Institute of Oceanography. The aquarium offers a variety fascinating exhibits, as well as hands-on encounters. Take your time to explore the beauty living in our backyard, then stop to have a bite to eat at their very own, Splash! Café by The French Gourmet. They are open 9am-5pm Daily.

5. Coastal Beach Cruising

Spend a day outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, listening to the waves crash, all while you’re riding along the coast on a colorful beach cruiser or electric bike. Pack a picnic and post up at a scenic spot. If you already own a bike, then this activity is practically free!
