Beaches
Encinitas beaches range from large, family beaches to secluded surf spots. Moonlight Beach is the largest and most well known beach in Encinitas. It has fire pits and picnic benches, lifeguard towers, restrooms, shower facilities, volleyball nets, and even a little playground for the kids. The extensive parking lot is convenient and provides easy access to the beach. Slightly South of Moonlight Beach is D-Street beach and more ideal for surfing. Swami’s Beach is at the southernmost end of Encinitas just next to the self Realization Fellowship Temple and most known for its epic right hand wave.
